Today is a monumental day for me, as I officially launch my business and website for Must. Love. Stories. I have that kind of heart-pounding, lump-in-your-throat nervousness that comes with taking a huge leap into the unknown, but am also so very excited to be starting this venture.
As you probably have guessed by now, I am in love with weddings, writing and people’s stories. So, Must. Love. Stories. is kind of all of that rolled into one business. Essentially, I will be taking people’s love stories (or life stories or adventure stories or wedding stories…the list is endless) and significant photos and making them into a beautiful hardcover book.
I feel so passionate about the need to put family histories, important memories and milestones on to paper. I had an “a-ha” moment when I realised that if I didn’t get these precious narratives into written form, my beautiful son may never have the chance to fully understand his heritage. The stories of how my grandparents met and fell in love, of how our Australian and German families survived during World War II, about how my parents came to be a couple (and I could go on), are so vital to remember and share.
I believe our story books will make a fantastic wedding, anniversary or birthday gift. Brides and grooms out there, this is a unique present to give to your other half for your first anniversary and even fits the traditional gift of ‘paper’. I adore the fact that these high-quality, Australian made books can be passed down through the generations of your family. I feel such pride and joy when I think about the fact that I can help cement these stories of love, life and adventure into a gorgeous physical keepsake.
Of course, I will be continuing to blog on My Something Blue about anything and everything related to weddings, as well as journaling some of the work I will be doing with Must. Love. Stories. I want to thank you for reading and I hope you continue to share my journey! Abby xx
